Managing Identities and Signatures

Similar to any mail client out there, we have incorporated the feature to have multiple identities for your email account in the webmail. This feature gives you the option to have custom identities that get populated on an email composition page when you are sending/forwarding/replying to emails. Each identity has the following attributes that enhances your emailing experience:

  1. Display Name (compulsory) - This is the from name that a recipient will see in his inbox.
  2. E-Mail (compulsory) - This is the from email address that a recipient will see in his inbox.
  3. Organization - Enter an organization name, if any.
  4. Reply To - Prefilled Reply To email address
  5. Bcc - Prefilled Bcc email addresses on the email composition page.
  6. Signature - Email signatures can be created here in plain/rich text format. If you wish to add a signature in Rich Text, select the HTML signature option.

Note: Any created identity can be set as the default id.

Here are the steps to manage identities:

  1. Login to the webmail interface.
  2. Click Settings at the top of any webmail page.
  3. Click the Managing Identities and Signatures tab.
  4. Select the default identity created to modify it or click on the New Identity button to have a fresh identity created.

Note: A new Identity does not create a new email account or increases your email space.
